Featuring… Sweet Baby James (a.k.a "Jimmy")

Sweet Baby James is a six year old beautiful black gelding. He is sired by Sweet Choco and Rose Hill Babydoll. He has a gait that is as smooth as glass, and absolutely adores people. He is extremely loving and an absolute pleasure to handle and ride. He is 15-15.1 hands. He is extremely well trained–he has been under saddle since he was a two year old. He has several years of professional training. He is responsive to two hands and neck-reining. "Jimmy" is an excellent trail horse–he navigates obstacles on a trail with good common sense.

Sweet Baby James is perfect for a beginner rider, but he is also perfect for an experienced rider. No matter what level of experience a rider has, "Jimmy" will take care of him/her.

Why The Mountain Horse?

The Mountain Horses have been preserved in the Appalachian area for centuries by dedicated horsemen who appreciate the Mountain Horses’ natural gait, kind temperament, willingness and hardiness.

These gentle Mountain horses were the foundation of the American gaited horses and breeds known today as the American Saddlebred and the Tennessee Walking Horse.They are still prized for their unique abilities both on the trail, cross country, obstacle and show competitions and all-around good sense. Real Horse Farm is proud own and raise excellent representatives of this amazing breed!
